Description:

Open Science FAIR 2021 Plenaries. Hosted virtually September 20 - 23. Full programme.

Natasa Milic-Frayling, CEO and Founder of Intact Digital, participated in a Round-Table Discussion Panel, moderated by Prof Yannis Ioannidis, Professor of Informatics at University of Athens, Athena Research and Innovation Center, on the exploring the boundaries and openness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how it fits into the open science initiative. The aim of the discussion was two fold: (i) to explain key challenges in the use of AI in Education, Research, Health and Government and what a framework for an Ethical AI would include. And most importantly how it would fit the open science/FAIR world, and (ii) to present the key concepts of openness in software, data and services and then explore technical, legal and ethical constructs that could allow AI openness.

The recording is a presentation by Intact Digital CEO and Founder Natasa Milic-Frayling on Opening AI topics hosted by the panel. Key topics covered: 'What do we want to be 'open about?, 'What is likely to have an impact?' and 'What do we need to improve to enable AI use?'
